Meet Teresa Darias
Plan-It Design began over a decade ago to integrate design with remodeling and construction services. Our belief at Plan-It design is that eliminating the middleman makes the process more user-friendly for our clients. Because we are both the designer and the general contractor, our clients have one only point of contact; the person who actually DESIGNED the project! Today Teresa’s 30+ years of experience have perfected her skills in all aspects of the process in creating your dream space.

Teresa was a huge help, a pleasure to work with and someone I now consider a friend! My husband was uncertain of spending money on a designer but it really isn't as expensive as everyone thinks. You pay for her services but get her discounts on your big ticket items! She comes in your home and looks around, chats and truly gets a feel of your personal style. After she measured and had our shutters installed she began on the kitchen remodel. We changed the counter tops, enlarged our island and added a little eating bar where there was just a shelf between kitchen and family room (this is the most sat at spot in the house!) and helped us with back splash and design. Again, she was there every step of the way. After everything was done and we are enjoying it, my husband started talking renovating the master bath. He said, "we should call Teresa!"

Earlier this year we remodeled our kitchen and replaced the tile in the main living area of our home. It was a large project, and one we were anxious to tackle without the help of a designer -- even though I had never previously used this service. Teresa and Michelle at Plan-It Design were amazing to work with! They are experienced, with an eye for design, have high standards of quality (even satisfying my incredibly picky husband), and always made us feel like we were their top priority. Teresa has a large network of sub-contractors and fully managed all aspects of the project, including obtaining material and managing construction activities. We highly recommend!

Teresa is amazing. I am extremely particular about things and it is rare that I am out done by anyone, but I think I have met my match. Teresa and her crew were amazing! On-time, incredible quality and on budget. The renovation site was clean (impeccably) each time a phase was completed, the quality of work was exceptional, and most importantly to me, there were no budget surprises. Teresa updated frequently and without prompting. This truly was an excellent experience and I cannot say enough good things about the company, and would recommend without reservation. You hear horror stories about projects, but sincerely, this was so effortless and easy that it was surreal. Thank you so much for doing such an incredible job.

I've always been weary to consult and use an Interior Designer. I always thought it was too expensive or their taste in design is too out there. But I just had it with my shabby/broken shutters in my front room and get drapes for my dining room, I decided to give Plan It Design a try. Teresa came to my house and she was awesome! She was very warm & friendly, she put my worries at ease and started throwing out some design ideas. I loved her design style...I was able to trust in her ideas.She has many design packages that I could customize to how much time I needed to have her consulting services. She helped me to select color schemes and design for the window coverings. She coordinated the painting of the front room and dining room. She coordinated everything from installation to final walk through. I love how it all looks, my house looks fabulous! I love coming home to see the great changes.Because I trusted her completely and saw what she already did, we were in the middle of re-designing my daughter's bedroom and decided to consult with her on the project. We had all the bedding, rug, and drapes picked out, but didn't quite get to the walls yet. Teresa came in, took a sample swatch of the colors in my daughter's room, picked out a couple of the colors and matched the colors perfectly. My daughter LOVES her room, LOVES what Teresa was able to do!If you are thinking of using a design consultant but are skeptical like I was, DON'T BE! You will be pleasantly surprised and won't ever regret it. You will be absolutely happy you did!
